JoBlo.com was famously founded by Berge Garabedian (aka JoBlo) in his parents’ garage in 1998, mostly at nights as a hobby, while toiling away at his day job at some rom-com Office Space-ish computer distributor.
Over the years, JoBlo himself hired every single person who ever worked on his site and made sure that every single one had this one trait in common: “You must be a major movie fan!” To this day, that refrain remains the site’s motto as JoBlo fancies itself a “Movie fansite created by movie fans…for movie fans!”.
Almost 20 years later, JoBlo.com has become one of the world’s most trusted online movie institutions with everyone from Steven Spielberg to Mila Kunis to Time Magazine giving it props (you can see all the industry kudos at the top of the site). It even spawned two other very successful genre sites, Arrow in the Head and MovieHotties, brands that are still going strong today. Nowadays, JoBlo.com remains one of the last independently owned movie fansites in the industry.
Over the past six years, JoBlo has become a fixture on YouTube’s Trailers scene as well, scoring over 2.3 billion views across its network of 7 YouTube channels, including its flagship channel JoBlo Movie Trailers.
This website, //www.joblotrailers.com/was launched in 2017 as a “homebase” for all of JoBlo’s YouTube channels, so that fans can find the latest in trailers across all channels…in one spot! The site is updated every 15 minutes with all the latest in movie trailers, TV trailers, movie clips, animated videos, superhero trailers and more, but also features all of the latest movie news from JoBlo.com and the latest celebrity interviews conducted by the JoBlo.com staff (the site has recorded over 3,000 interviews since its humble beginnings and has visited over 150 movie sets around the world!)
If you’re a movie geek, JoBlo is the place for you!
